You must be aware that, to be admissible, your report must be serious and factual.
Submitting a report is a serious process that may have consequences for the people identified in the report.
It is therefore essential to carefully consider the truthfulness of the facts and statements you are reporting so that they may not be deemed defamatory.
The admissibility of the report will be assessed based on the following criteria:
- Does the report describe a detrimental situation?
- Is the nature of the reported situation severe enough?
- Do the reported facts constitute an infringement of applicable laws, regulations or our code of conduct?
- Is any documentation provided with the report (photo, document, video…)?
- Is this a bona fide report with no expectation of financial compensation?
- (outside of the workplace) Has the author of the report personally witnessed the reported facts?
Within the limits of confidentiality and rights of our employees, any report will be thoroughly reviewed and trigger a detailed internal audit.
The identity of the author of a bona fine report submitted without the expectation of a financial compensation will remain confidential when they report actions that are contrary to our code of ethics, criminal or unlawful, whether they have direct or indirect knowledge of those actions.
